Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

In a world that constantly demands our attention, where we rush from one thing to another, God gently whispers, “Be still.” This simple yet powerful command invites us to slow down, breathe, and remember that He is in control.

Finding Rest in His Presence 🌿

So often the pace of our lives mimics the pace of our hearts. We hurry through days filled with lists and noise, rarely taking time to sit quietly in His presence. But when we do, we discover that stillness is not emptiness — it’s where we meet God.

This past weekend, I attended a celebration of life for a woman I deeply admired. As I reconnected with lifelong friends and reflected on her life, I was reminded of the joy and peace that radiated from her. Her faith was unshakable, her joy contagious, and she always took time to make others feel special.

Slow Down and Trust 💜

Driving home, I thought about how she truly lived in the moment — never rushed, always present. The world may demand that we hurry, but God invites us to slow down and rest in Him. Peace is not found in our plans, but in His presence.

When we lay our worries at His feet, He fills us with a deep and lasting peace. In that stillness, He renews our hearts, reminding us that we are loved and cared for by a faithful God.

A Moment to Pause 🌸

This week, may we take time to quiet our minds and rest in God’s presence. Let His peace wash over you, refreshing your spirit and filling you with strength for the days ahead.

Be still… and know. ✝️
