There is something quietly powerful about opening the Bible together with ssomeone special.
My sweet friend and I have been reading through the book of Psalms together each morning. We talk daily, and we decided, what better way to begin each day than by going to God’s Word together with humble and open hearts? 💕
We recently finished reading Psalm 150, and as we hung up the phone, we both agreed that this simple daily practice has not only strengthened our walk with Christ, but it has strengthened our friendship as well.
What has surprised me the most is how powerful it is to read these sacred words together. Mornings have become a beautiful, holy rhythm. Two friends, one Word, and a faithful God who meets us each day right where we are. ✨
As we have read together each morning, our friendship has grown stronger, but more importantly, our trust in God has deepened. We are discovering that when we faithfully spend time in God’s Word each day, little by little, our faith grows stronger. 🌿
I am learning that God never intended for us to walk this journey of faith alone. 🤍
No matter the season we are in, the Psalms always seem to meet us exactly where we are. They comfort us, encourage us, and gently point our hearts back to Him.
“The Lord is near to all who call on Him.”
Psalm 145:18
This week, I encourage you to think about who God has placed in your life to walk alongside you in faith. And how might He be inviting you to create a simple daily rhythm of seeking Him together?
One of God’s sweetest gifts is a faithful friend who encourages us to keep our eyes on Him. 🌸
