“Let us throw off everything that hinders…” — Hebrews 12:1
A Fresh Start 🌿
The beginning of a new year is a natural time to clean out clutter. I quickly realized I wasn’t the only one with that thought.
While sitting in line at Hope’s Closet thrift store, my trunk filled with items to donate, something stirred in my heart. As I pulled away, I realized that clutter isn’t always something we can see.

The Clutter We Don’t See 🤍
Sometimes it piles up quietly — in our hearts, our schedules, and our thoughts.
Like a cluttered room, it slowly steals our peace and makes it harder to move freely in faith.
An Invitation to Let Go ✨
God lovingly invites us to clean house mentally too.
Honest Questions 🙏
During my quiet time, I asked God some honest questions:
What am I holding on to that You never asked me to carry?
What is keeping me from hearing Your voice and following Your will?
I sat with those questions and realized how easy it is to carry things out of habit, fear, or a need for control.

Making Space 🌿
It’s often in these uncomfortable places that space is created —
space for peace instead of pressure,
space for trust instead of fear.
Lighter Hearts 🤍
Just as we feel lighter after clearing out a crowded space, our souls can breathe easier when we surrender our clutter to the Lord.
And here’s the beauty of it all ✨
He doesn’t just remove what weighs us down —
He replaces it with what we need for the journey ahead. 🤍
