"Love the Lord with all your heart and with all your mind and with all your soul and with all your strength." — Mark 12:30 ✨
In a world that is often fast-paced, nurturing our emotional and spiritual life has become more important than ever. This scripture highlights a comprehensive devotion to God, encompassing every aspect of our lives. đź’•
I have found that daily rituals can serve as anchors, providing structure and meaning to my daily routines. But I have also found that true worship is not defined by external rituals. Rather, it is found in the genuine communion of our hearts with God. 🙏
Outward actions serve as a testimony to the inward change that has taken place. Connecting with God and others gives us a sense of belonging and helps guide us in our daily routines, bringing balance to our lives spiritually, mentally, emotionally, socially, and physically. 🌸

Recently, I was reminded of this truth through a wonderful book written by my friend, Rebecca Maxwell, a well-respected licensed mental health counselor. Her insightful book, Jesus and Your Mental Health, is based on biblical principles and teaches the importance of wellness both mentally, spiritually and physically. đź“–đź’—

The unique strength of her book lies in its ability to bridge the gap between faith and mental health. Seeking support, rest, wise counsel, prayer, or professional help when needed is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength. God often works through the people and resources He places around us. His loving care comes in many forms. ✨
As we begin our week, let’s pause and consider where we can incorporate a healthy balance for our soul so that we can become all that God created us to be. May we draw closer to Him and allow His presence to guide us in every area of our lives. 🌿💕
