❤️ Guard Your Heart ❤️

📖 "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." — Proverbs 4:23
While driving on a road trip, I looked up and saw a heart-shaped image in the middle of the cumulus clouds. ☁️❤️ It made me stop and consider what our hearts truly represent.
Our hearts are the center of who we are. Our thoughts, words, desires, and emotions all flow from them. They are the wellspring from which our attitudes and actions begin. God is deeply interested in the condition of our hearts—not our outward appearance, but what lies beneath the surface.
📖 In 1 Samuel 13:14, we are reminded that David was "a man after God's own heart." Throughout his life, David demonstrated unwavering faith in God, showing us that becoming a person after God's heart begins with cultivating a relationship grounded in His grace. ❤️
As we choose to spend quiet time in God's Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with Him and with others, He gently shapes our hearts to reflect His own. What a beautiful gift that is. 🙏
I am so grateful for His gentle reminder tucked among the clouds—a simple invitation to pause and do a heart check. ☁️💙 To ask ourselves what we are allowing to fill our hearts. Are we filling them with God's truth, His grace, and His peace?
May we be encouraged this week to allow God to continually transform our hearts, drawing us closer to Him and helping us live out the beautiful calling He has placed on each of our lives. ✨
Let's also remember that what we allow to take root in our hearts truly matters. 🌱 If we choose bitterness, resentment, or fear, those things will continue to grow like unwanted weeds. But if we choose gratitude, faith, and love, God will produce beautiful fruit in our lives. 🍎🌸
