Rooted in Him 🌿🙏

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.” — Jeremiah 17:7–8 📖
Trees hold a special significance throughout the Bible, symbolizing strength, growth, and life 🌳
Just as a tree needs sunlight, water, and good soil, we too must care for our spiritual lives — through prayer, fellowship, worship, and time in God’s Word 🙏✨
Recently, while out for a walk, I noticed a beautiful weeping willow and several large oak trees standing tall 🍃 There is something quietly powerful about trees.
They don’t rush or strive.
Yet season after season, they remain steady — growing and thriving.

Why?
Because of what we cannot see.
Their roots 🌱
Roots go down before branches go up. And often, the strength of a tree is not determined by what is visible, but by how deeply it is rooted.
Trees face wind and storms 🌬️🌧️ Yet their roots hold firm when everything above the ground is shaken.
The same is true for us 🤍
A life rooted in God doesn’t mean a life without storms.
But when we are rooted in Christ, we can lean on Him for strength 💛
He anchors us, sustains us, and draws us closer to His living water 💧
And here is the beautiful part…
Healthy roots don’t just sustain a tree — they produce fruit 🍎
This week, let’s pause and reflect:
What are we rooted in? 🌿✨
