The Domino Effect of Faith❤️🙏

While visiting Foothills Church, tucked in the mountains, the pastor preached a powerful sermon about our actions and choices. As we left the service, we were handed a domino, and mine is still in my purse today. It has become a beautiful reminder of how one event can trigger a series of reactions, much like a line of dominoes falling.
Our lives follow a sequence where one decision or one act of service sets the trajectory for everything that follows. The pastor shared something that has stayed with me: “Our vision makes the decision, and our voice makes the choice.”
A single domino may seem insignificant—small, ordinary, and easy to overlook. Yet when it is placed in line with others and gently nudged, it creates a chain reaction that reaches far beyond itself.
Faith often works the same way. We sometimes underestimate the power of small acts of obedience. One kind word can restore hope. One invitation can lead someone closer to Christ. One simple act of faithfulness can change the direction of someone's life.
Throughout Scripture, God delights in using small beginnings. Zechariah 4:10 reminds us, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”
A shepherd's stone defeated a giant. A little boy's lunch fed thousands. A mustard seed became a flourishing tree. Again and again, God shows us that He can do extraordinary things through what seems small and ordinary.
This week, let's not minimize the small dominoes God has placed before us. A faithful, obedient action or response may be the beginning of a beautiful chain reaction of grace, encouragement, healing, and hope. ❤️🙏
