🌿 Through the Lens of Faith 🤍

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7 🙏

Have you ever noticed how much our perspective changes what we see?

Two people can look at the very same situation and come away with two very different impressions. One sees a problem; the other sees a possibility. One sees a closed door; the other trusts that God may be opening a better one.

Sometimes the problem isn’t what we’re looking at. It’s the lens through which we choose to look. 🌿

When we look through the lens of fear, everything seems uncertain. Through the lens of disappointment, even our blessings can be difficult to see. Through the lens of comparison, we begin to believe our lives are somehow lacking.

But when we look through the lens of faith, everything begins to change. 🤍

God doesn’t always change our circumstances, but He can change the way we see them.

Philippians 4:8 encourages us to focus our minds on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.

When we do, we may begin to see that we have more to be thankful for than we realize, more strength available through Christ than we imagined, and more reasons to trust God than our circumstances may suggest. ✨

When we choose to change the lens through which we see life, we may begin to recognize the goodness of God that was there all along.

Choosing to look beyond what is visible and trust the One who sees it all. 🙏

This week, will you join me as we clean the lens of our hearts and choose to look through the lens of God’s promises? 🤍
