What a privilege it has been to work with students at the McKenzie Beaches Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp. 💙 This is my 13th year helping in honor of McKenzie Noelle Wilson’s life and legacy and the impact she made on so many lives, including mine.

It has been beautiful to watch the children’s confidence grow throughout the summer. 🌱 Watching them learn to do their best, be their best, be prepared, and follow through on commitments helps them develop habits that will serve them throughout their lives.

Jesus Himself grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. ✨ Luke 2:52. He prepared for the work His Father had given Him by faithfully living each day in obedience.

What a privilege it has been to help these students discover their full potential each week and then watch them walk the runway, sharing what they have learned at camp with their parents, friends, and fellow campers. 👏

God uses faithful servants and willing young hearts to produce fruit in His perfect timing. 🌿 Every lesson taught, every encouraging word spoken, and every value modeled becomes a thread woven into the fabric of a child's life.

I can remember being at camp myself and all the valuable lessons I learned as a young girl. 💕 Lifelong friendships were formed, and wise mentors took the time to invest in me. The Boys & Girls Club does a wonderful job of helping set these children up for success, and I am truly blessed to be a small part of it.

This week, let's think about what values we can instill to help others reach their full potential. ❤️ As we train hearts for the road ahead, may we model integrity, teach responsibility, encourage preparation, and most of all, demonstrate God's love through our words and our actions. 🙏
