My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Tim Lee speaking at West Jacksonville Baptist Church, sharing his powerful testimony of faith

A Divine Appointment 🌿

It was more than fate when I found myself sitting across the aisle on a flight from Jacksonville to Dallas next to U.S. Marine and Purple Heart recipient Tim Lee eight years ago. His testimony was beyond inspirational, and as the flight landed, he handed me his book and asked me a question that still stirs my soul to this day

“What is God’s purpose for your life? Never quit.”

Those words continue to echo in my heart. 💛

What a blessing it was to reunite again with him and his lovely wife, Connie at West Jacksonville Baptist Church, and hear his powerful message about how God has transformed his life. 🙏

From Pain to Purpose 🌸

Tim Lee grew up in a pastor’s home, but as a young man, he ran from God. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was sent to Vietnam, determined to live life his own way.

On March 8, 1971, everything changed in a moment — Tim stepped on a 60-pound land mine. The explosion took both of his legs and nearly his life.

What could have been the end became a new beginning. ✨

In a hospital bed — broken in body but awakened in spirit — Tim surrendered completely to Jesus Christ. He later said, “God let me live for a reason — for a purpose.”

A Life Transformed 🌎

Since that day, Tim Lee has preached across America and around the world. His story reminds us that God can take what seems like the end and turn it into a testimony.

Out of pain came purpose. 🌿

Each of us faces moments that feel like land mines — unexpected losses, disappointments, or deep hurts. We can either grow bitter or surrender them to God. When we surrender, God’s love begins to work in ways we could never imagine. 💖

His Power in Our Weakness ✝️

Tim often emphasizes that the call is clear — to give everything to Christ and let Him write the rest of the story.

Our greatest asset is not in our strength or ability. In Tim’s case, the physical loss of both legs became the catalyst for a lifelong ministry.

Looking at his life, we see the truth of God’s promise — that His grace is truly sufficient, and His power is made perfect in our weakness. 🌸

God had a purpose — and He always does.
