“My soul yearns for You in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for You.” — Isaiah 26:9

A Question That Stirs the Heart 🌿

At our discipleship gathering this week, Dena posed a beautiful and thought-provoking question:

If you could step back in time and walk into any moment of Jesus’ earthly life,

which moment would you choose?

It was such a tender invitation to reflect, and I loved hearing everyone’s responses — each one revealing something precious about the heart of Jesus.

Moments That Still Speak to Us ✨

Some said the manger — that quiet, humble, holy place where God slipped into the world as a baby wrapped in the cloth of glory.

Another chose the hillside, where Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish, showing us that in His hands, not enough becomes more than enough.

One chose the empty tomb — the moment an angel declared, “He is not here. He is risen.” What a moment that must have been — the dawn of Hope for every heart.

Another shared the upper room, where Jesus knelt low to wash dusty, dirty feet, teaching us that true greatness always looks like servanthood.

Each answer held beauty. Each moment revealed a different facet of His love.

The Same Jesus Is With Us Today 🤍✨

But here is the wonder…

The same Jesus who taught, healed, forgave, performed miracles, and rose again — is with us right now.

We don’t have to travel back in time to witness His compassion or feel His presence.

Scripture reminds us:

“Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” — Matthew 28:20

A Question for Our Hearts Today 🌠

Another meaningful question for us to reflect on is this:

Where in my life today do I need to notice

that He is already there?

Because He is.

In the quiet moments.

In the difficult places.

In the ordinary days we often overlook.

Jesus is near — right beside us, walking with us every day.
